Then, I have asked and searched about Poland, the country with amazing locations, and kind people.
Actually, I choice Poland, 1st is for the interesting Master program as per my looking, then the very good student’s environment, as well as Poland has amazing location to visit with helpful persons.
After joining the program, it was with high level and qualified professors and teachers, but it needs to study hard as you have to complete 90 Points in one and half year.

My studying journey was very nice and full of challenges, the Szczecin city was very quiet and fit to the student’s life style. Special thanks for all Professors and Doctors who gave me knowledge and upgraded my Civil engineering skills”.

„My university experiences so far has been staggering. I have learned and experienced so many things in such a short period of time. Being a student of ZUT it helps me in encompasses much of what defines modern civilization.
Buildings and bridges are often the first constructions that comes to mind as they are the most conspicuous creations of Structural engineering. In this valuable time friendship is an extra ordinary gift in anyone's life. An individual to know various individuals during thier life venture. Among these I find Dawid and Mohammed who have similar choice of taste and nature.
I would like to also mention that when I came to the university I met the most humble, kind, astonishing women and that is dr. Karolina Kurtz-Orecka. I feel entitlement to get her in my entity, she is not only my professor also my mother. She is the pillar of my life, supported me all through the days. Her service to humanity is greatest of all.
But I would like to give thank you to very Doctors and professors who also with me and help in every way possible. ZUT in szczecin is ranked highly especially in my field of study. Shilpa DasM.Sc. Eng Waleed Qatrameez: International Construction Management
“My name is Waleed Qatrameez, from Jordan. I'm a master's holder of civil engineering from the West Pomeranian University of Technology. And I would like to write about my experience and study for almost 2 years in Szczecin, Poland.
Firstly, I shall have to say Szczecin is a very beautiful and quiet city, and also is safe and the people are actually extremely humble, welcoming, and friendly towards outsiders.
Secondly, the west Pomeranian University of Technology was my second home, I had always like to spend most of my time in the university even after complete all my lectures, it's the best place ever for the student to complete the tasks and also for having a fun time with colleagues and friends. The university services are absolutely amazing (facilities, internet, documents procedure, staff, etc.)
Thirdly, the teachers of the university are absolutely helpful, kind and always try to be close to their students to hear their problems in their subjects and do their best to help students, support and motivate students to push them to demonstrate their best. Besides to make every lecture and lesson enjoyable and educational. Moreover, the lectures are really fantastic, due to the fact the lectures are a combination of education, recommendations, and discuss the problems.
Eventually, I feel very honored to study at the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin, one of the best universities in the world and in Europe. I especially like the way of teaching; it is very interactive between students and teachers. The international construction management program has developed my critical thinking, English skills and it has made me more aware of different nationalities and cultural differences. I have developed a lot in the last 2 years and feel inspired by the teachers and staff. I would recommend studying at the West Pomeranian University of Technology, Szczecin, because the teachers are very helpful and you will receive a lot of guidance and preparation.” M.Sc. Eng Waleed QatrameezM.Sc. Eng Weldegebreal Weldelibanos
Hello there, I am Weldegebreal Hagos Weldelibanos from Ethiopia and holder of an MSc degree in Civil Engineering, International Construction Management from West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin, 2022. I would like to express the unforgettable experiences, memories, and opinions I had during my studies at the spectacular university, Zachodniopomorskie Uniwersytet Technologiczny w Szczecinie (ZUT).
First, Szczecin city is simply very quiet, attractive, impressive, suitable to study and very friendly for foreigner students. And the West Pomeranian University has also a complete study material and equipment, student accommodations (with all facilities) and student recreational activities. The location of the University is also well stationed. It's very close to the student accommodation, main train station, the city administration office and the centre of the city which are most of the time necessary things for newcomer students and make the university to be chosen.
On the other hand, the University staff, and lectures, all of them were positive, helpful, motivating and very kind with students. Especially the vice dean of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering Dr. inż..Andrzej Pozlewicz (personally my thesis supervisor) and the students' dean office are very open; give a quick response of any information requests in addition to the educational staff. So, I would like to appreciate it. Of course, due to the impact of COVID 19 most of our classes were online at the beginning but for real, after I met some of the staff later after the COVID 19 restriction resignation I criticize those days we spent on the MS Teams platform.
Generally, I'm glad to be one of the graduates from West Pomeranian University of Technology in Szczecin and so happy with the time I spend. I believed that I got enough knowledge about the program of my MSc study in international construction management. And as I mentioned many times, the experiences I got from all the university lectures, staff and friends from different nationalities always remain in mind. I recommend that any foreigner who would like to study the program of international construction management has to visit the university and its website before making his/her decision.
let's keep in touch!
Kind regards
M.Sc. Eng Weldegebreal WeldelibanosM.Sc. Eng Patricio Olivares
My relationship with ZUT started many months before I even got enrolled into the ICM MSc programme. I sent many emails with questions about the content of the subjects and organization of the studies, and I always had a prompt reply from dr. Andrzej Pozlewicz, Vice Dean for Student's Affairs and Education, and all the staff working in the international student's office. They were all very kind to clarify my doubts, so I didn't hesitate to enrol into this course.
From day number one, all lecturers were very focused to explain all the topics in a clear way for the understanding and satisfaction of all the students. In this sense, I really liked that majority of subjects were divided into theoretical and practical parts, so we could have the opportunity to work on practical projects and apply the theory on real-life situations. In addition, some of the subjects included interesting seminars and presentations from important professionals working on renowned international companies around the globe. A great initiative that motivates all students and enables the creation of future working networks.
As many places in the world, we were hit by lockdowns due to COVID-19 during 2021. However, ZUT had a comprehensive plan in place to allow online learning, delivering high quality classes without problems.
ZUT has all facilities that modern universities have nowadays: dormitories for foreign students, medical services,
libraries and spaces for recreation purposes. In addition, Szczecin is a nice place to live, a beautiful, calm city
with all services a student needs. Connections to other cities in Poland and abroad (i.e. Berlin) is simple. Poland
is a developed country with all necessary infrastructure at a reasonable price and with excellent standards of
education. All these are very good reasons to choose ZUT as your preferred University to continue your postgraduate
studies.
I am really happy with my overall experience in ZUT and I would totally recommend this course of studies to foreign
students as it meets the challenging demands of today's professionals in the construction industry. I am also very
thankful for the continuous support provided for all the teachers during the time I studied in ZUT. They were always
very professional and passionate about what they do, always encouraging students to improve and go one step further.
